Purpose of the role:

In this role, you will turn research and product analysis into clear, actionable insights for product teams.

You will deep dive into user journeys, competitor solutions, and market trends to identify opportunities and help shape product improvements.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive desk research to monitor the overall market landscape, track competitor updates, and identify industry trends.

  • Conduct end-to-end competitor product audits by simulating real user experiences to reverse-engineer user journeys, core mechanics, and UX/UI flows across various international markets.

  • Assist in organizing and managing field research with native users to gather qualitative data.

  • Transform raw data into clear, actionable insights and visual frameworks to support product decisions.

  • Work closely with the Lead Researcher to organize knowledge bases, align on research goals, and help present findings to product teams.

Required Experience:

  • 1.5+ years of experience in a product-related position (Product Researcher, Business Analyst, Product Owner, QA, etc.).

  • Strong competitor analysis skills to understand market dynamics and trends.

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, with the ability to determine when, why, and how to apply them.

  • Understanding of key product and business metrics.

  • Ability to analyze raw data, synthesize results, and write clear, actionable reports.

  • Familiarity with visual mapping and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro), and general user tracking tools.

  • Tech-savviness and comfort in finding workarounds to analyze geo-restricted digital products.

  • Great communication skills with the capacity to convey ideas effectively to the team.

  • Russian language: close to native level.

  • A data-driven, ownership-oriented mindset with enthusiasm and determination to achieve results.

Nice to have:

  • Gambling experience is a huge plus.

  • Upper-Intermediate English will be a plus.
