5+ years of experience in software testing within the payments/cards domain
Hands-on experience with testing card processing platforms or issuer-side payment systems, including POS, ATM, and e-commerce transactions (magstripe, EMV, contactless)
Experience validating real-time issuer authorization messages using Visa, Mastercard, and in-house simulators, ensuring compliance with payment network standards
Proven ability to create and manage test cases and data setup, including SQL-based validation for transaction processing and settlement
Requirements:

Our Client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Senior Test Analyst (Payments & Cards Domain) for their Remote location.
Responsibilities:
Senior Test Analyst (Payments & Cards Domain)
Perform end-to-end testing of card payment transaction flows including authorization, clearing, and response validation across debit and credit card systems.
Execute functional, regression, SIT, and UAT testing for POS, ATM, and e-commerce card transactions, covering magstripe, EMV, and contactless payment methods.
Validate real-time issuer authorization messages and responses using Visa, Mastercard, and in-house simulators, ensuring compliance with payment network standards.
Create and manage detailed test cases and test scenarios aligned to card processing business rules, transaction lifecycles, and technical specifications.
Set up and manage card data and backend configurations, performing SQL-based data validation to ensure accuracy of transaction processing and settlement records.
Collaborate with payment processors, vendors, and client stakeholders to support client-facing testing, defect triage, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation.
Prior experience working with client card processing platforms or as part of client engagements is highly preferred, given familiarity with issuer-side payment systems and industry-standard transaction flows.
