The Role We’re looking for a senior data leader to define and deliver our global data strategy. You’ll lead a growing team, build scalable data platforms, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role reports to Chief Solutions Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute data strategy: Develop a clear, actionable roadmap that aligns data initiatives with organizational priorities, driving business growth and operational efficiency.
Lead and scale the data team: Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers (currently 3 direct reports), with responsibility for hiring, development, and team structure as the function grows.
Deliver analytics & insights: Oversee reporting and analytics to provide timely, high-quality insights; translate complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Own data platform development: Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a centralized, scalable data platform (Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics), ensuring reliability and performance.
Establish data governance & quality: Define standards, policies, and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and compliance across systems.
Drive experimentation culture: Implement and oversee frameworks for testing (e.g., A/B testing), ensuring new initiatives are evaluated using robust, data-driven methodologies.
Partner across the organization: Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and embed data into decision-making.
Lead innovation in data & AI: Stay current with industry trends and identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI where they add value.
Contribute to enterprise IT strategy: Act as a key member of the IT leadership team, aligning data strategy with broader technology direction.
Your Profile
7 years of experience of which 2 in a data architect role and 5 as a data engineer
Strong background in data architecture & platforms (design → build → run)
Proven team leadership experience (3–5+ years)
Experience with Azure data stack / Microsoft Fabric / Dynamics
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Passion for mission-driven work
Fluent English required
This is fully remote role Salary range: 20,000pln – 25,000 pln gross per month This may change depending on location, as we recalculate it for Cost of Living index for the given country.
