Requirements:

  • Build and develop strong customer partnerships by articulating Danaher LS's value proposition and orchestrating C-Suite/Senior Leadership meetings, on-site strategy visits, and technical seminars.
  • Build and own account strategy from the ground up and collaborate with Commercial Marketing, BU, Sales and Distribution partners to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve defined goals.
  • Articulate Danaher LS's value proposition to OpCo senior leaders in the Biologics space.
  • Understand, build, and manage the sales funnel on a routine basis; adopt funnel as standard work and communicate current and future state to leadership; manage leads in a timely and efficient fashion.

The Director of Global Strategic Partnerships will drive high-level collaborations and partnerships with BioPharma customers Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, and Sanofi through a strong knowledge of the customer, and the Danaher Life Sciences product portfolio. This position will manage cross-platform commercial penetration for Danaher LS at said accounts globally through revenue growth and incremental opportunity generation.  This Director will elevate Danaher LS's position in the account by influencing C-suite and other essential decision makers and will have responsibility of owning the account strategy.

You will be a part of the Danaher LS Commercial team and report to the BioPharma Leader. This is a solutions-oriented role, requiring collaborative and innovative leadership to drive growth for the business. This is a remote role with preference for biopharma hubs in the Western Europe – France or DACH region preferred.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Customer Engagement: Build and develop strong customer partnerships through articulating Danaher LS's value proposition.  Orchestrate C-Suite, Senior Leadership meetings, on-site strategy visits and technical seminars promoting Danaher’s mission, workflows and innovations. 

  • Sales Performance: Build and own account strategy from the ground up. Work in collaboration with Commercial Marketing, BU, Sales and Distribution partners.   Ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve defined goals.

  • Leadership: Articulate Danaher LS’s value proposition to OpCo senior leaders seeking partners in the Biologics space

  • Funnel Management: Understand, build and manage funnel on a routine basis.  Adopt as standard work and use this tool to communicate to leadership during report outs and operating companies to discuss current and future state.  Manage leads in a timely and efficient fashion.

  • Growth: Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth.  Develop a strong understanding of the Danaher LS portfolio, the workflows where Danaher LS has robust solutions, and synergies between Danaher LS and the customer.  Learn and understand local consortium purchasing to support your strategy. 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a science related field

  • 5 years selling into large BioPharma

  • 7+ years of commercial experience at a Life Sciences company, or closely related industry

  • 2 years success selling to VP and C-Suite Account Leaders

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 30-50%

  • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
