The Planning and Materials Manager, LATAM is responsible for: Managing the planning and execution of Latam finished goods inventory within their region, with a focus on maximizing on-time delivery (OTD) and optimizing inventory levels.  Managing finished goods planners and buyers in Latin America.

This position reports to the Global Supply Planning Director and is part of the Supply Chain Department located in São Paulo and will be fully remote

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead a team of professionals who are responsible for executing E2E Supply Planning for LATAM, including Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Colombia, with focus on achieving KPI’s such as OTD, Inventory Turns, and E & O.
  • Work directly with Global and Regional Managers and Country Leadership to define and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals and escalate potential risks and opportunities.
  • Manage finished goods inventory of approximately USD6M monthly including budgeting for E&O and providing input for DFH
  • Ensure adherence to all corporate processes, policies, and compliance standards

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Four-year degree in a supply chain field
  • Ten years or more in supply chain, preferably in a global role.
  • Two years or more in direct people management & experience managing people remotely
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders in Spanish, Portuguese and English
  • Establish inventory levels at all LATAM warehouses in alignment with global stocking strategies and local customer requirements.
  • Coordinate the replenishment of finished goods to all Latam warehouses from both internal sources and external suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve potential supply issues and communicate risks to commercial operations and country leaders.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

  • Ability to travel – 10%, overnight, within territory or locations

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Oracle, SAP or other ERP experience
