Role Overview
  • This role goes beyond numbers—it’s where precision meets foresight.
  • As an Estimator, you’ll be the bridge between concept and construction, turning plans into clear, competitive, and commercially sound project roadmaps. You’ll decode drawings, anticipate challenges, and shape decisions before the first shovel hits the ground.
  • Working remotely but tightly aligned with a high-performing Australian construction team, you’ll bring clarity to complexity—and confidence to every quote.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
  • Prepare RFQs, tenders, and EOIs from initial pricing to final submission.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to obtain pricing and validate scope.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns for residential and civil projects.
  • Identify project risks, scope gaps, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support project teams with pricing, planning, and minor works estimates.
  • Assist with permits, compliance requirements, and documentation.
  • Maintain organized and accurate estimating records.

Requirements

Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
  • Minimum 5+ years of construction estimating experience (residential or civil).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with subcontractors and managing tender processes.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with government contracts.
  • Exposure to Australian construction standards and practices.

  • Work Setup: 100% Remote (Work from Home).
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday.
  • Hours: Dayshift (AEST).
