About the Sales Associate Candidate Pool

Who you are

The Sales Associate role within the BridgeUSA International Sales team is designed for recent college graduates and emerging professionals who are eager to build a career in sales. This position is ideal for someone competitive, motivated by achieving results, and driven to meet and exceed ambitious targets.

We welcome applicants from many backgrounds who are motivated to learn and grow. Many successful candidates have experience participating in activities that involve teamwork, leadership, and goal setting, such as:

  • Athletic teams (high school, college, club, or community leagues)
  • Student organizations or campus clubs
  • Academic teams, debate teams, or leadership programs
  • Entrepreneurial or business clubs

These experiences often build transferable skills like drive, collaboration, accountability, persistence, and strong communication- skills that are essential for effective relationship-building and success in sales roles.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Associate, you will learn the fundamentals of sales outreach, relationship building, and program promotion while supporting the growth of the BridgeUSA programs.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Connect with prospective host organizations, partners, and community contacts to introduce BridgeUSA programs
  • Support outreach campaigns through phone, email, and virtual sales meetings
  • Build relationships with employers and community partners across the U.S. with the goal of driving sales.
  • Collaborate with experienced team members to identify new partnership opportunities that would result in sales
  • Track outreach activities and engagement using internal systems
  • Participate in training sessions focused on professional communication, sales fundamentals, and international education
  • Help promote cultural exchange opportunities that support global learning and workforce development
