Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced C++ developer to join our team, focusing on Android Auto and CarPlay development. Also HAL exp. is important. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ programming, as well as experience with Android Auto and CarPlay platforms.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and test C++ applications for Android Auto and CarPlay platforms.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management.

3. Implement and integrate Android Auto and CarPlay APIs, including audio, video, and control interfaces.

4. Optimize application performance, ensuring low latency and high-quality audio/video playback.

5. Debug and troubleshoot issues using various tools, including logcat, gdb, and valgrind.

6. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest Android Auto and CarPlay developments, incorporating new features and technologies into our applications.

Mandatory Skill:

1. 3+ years of experience in C++ programming.

2. Strong understanding of C++11/C++14 features and best practices.

3. Experience with Android Auto and CarPlay development, including API integration and application development.

4. HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) is important

5. Familiarity with audio and video processing, including codecs, containers, and streaming protocols.

6. Experience with debugging and troubleshooting tools, such as logcat, gdb, and valgrind.

7. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred skill:

1. Experience with other programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#.

2. Familiarity with automotive-grade Linux, including Yocto and GENIVI.

3. Knowledge of Bluetooth, USB, and other automotive connectivity protocols.

4. Experience with testing frameworks, such as Google Test or CppUTest.

5. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git or SVN.
