Job Title: C# Developer

Location: NJ

Reports To: Technical Lead / Project Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled C# Developer to design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and the .NET framework. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications, along with strong problem-solving and debugging skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core.

  • Work on backend services, APIs, and application logic.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.

  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.

  • Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and APIs.

  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

  • Stay updated with new trends, frameworks, and tools in the .NET ecosystem.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in C# development.

  • Proficiency in .NET Framework / .NET Core, ASP.NET (MVC or Web API).

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

  • Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.

  • Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and RESTful APIs.

  • Understanding of version control systems (Git, TFS).

  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms.

  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack development.

  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
