Manage end-to-end AR operations including invoicing, collections, aging analysis, and dispute resolution for IT/service-based billing models.
Ensure accurate billing based on timesheets, contracts, rate cards, and milestones.
Monitor AR aging and drive collection efficiency to improve cash flow.
Coordinate with sales, delivery, and project teams to resolve billing and collection issues.
Record to Report (R2R)
Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial closure.
Handle journal entries, accruals, provisions, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Prepare balance sheet schedules and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and explanations.
Timesheet Management
Oversee timesheet tracking, validation, and approvals across projects and resources.
Ensure timesheet data integrity for accurate billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.
Work closely with delivery and HR teams to resolve discrepancies and improve compliance.
Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports, many of which are manual due to system limitations.
Consolidate data from multiple sources for management reporting.
Develop and maintain robust Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely submission of reports to leadership.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong expertise in AR for IT organizations
Solid understanding of R2R processes and financial close cycles
Excellent Excel skills
Experience working in manual or Excel-heavy reporting environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, HR, and leadership
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
