Roles & Responsibilities

  • 12+ years of software/industrial IoT experience with strong technical leadership
  • Experience defining technical requirements and project plans with PMs/Business Analysts for multi-site IIoT deployments
  • Proficiency with Ignition IIoT Platform, IoT Edge, MQTT data brokers, Kepware and Matrikon, and Azure services (Azure Injector, Azure Event Hub); basic networking and security concepts

Requirements:

  • Collaborate with PMs/Business Analysts to define technical requirements and project plans for IIoT deployments across multiple client sites
  • Lead daily factory-site calls and address technical questions related to Ignition IIoT Platform across multiple teams
  • Ensure VM readiness by installing/configuring Ignition and Kepware; create connectivity between Ignition Server and SQL Server; coordinate firewall port requirements with networking/DB teams
  • Own the Ignition Reference Architecture per site and troubleshoot end-to-end issues across networking, security, and connectivity to ensure architectural compliance

Role: IIOT Technical Lead
Location remote
Duration 12 months +

We need a strong IIoT Technical Lead with 12+ experience in software industry with strong technical skills to support and execute multiple IIoT projects parallelly.
2. Help Project Managers and Business Analysts to define technical requirements and project plan needed to execute the IIoT project at multiple client sites.
3. Attend daily calls for each factory site and answer technical queries of multiple teams around Ignition IIoT Platform.

4. Mandatory Skills: Design and Architecture, IoT Edge, Ignition, MQTT data brokers Kepware, Matrikon, Azure Injector, Azure Event Hub, Basic Networking skills, Basic Security Skills, SSL Certificate like understanding firewall rules etc.

5. The candidate must be proficient and seasoned tech lead where is he able to support system integration team by making sure the virtual machines are ready by installing and configuring Ignition and Kepware on them.
6. Support DBA team by ensuring VM's are ready for SQL Server Installation. Create connectivity between Ignition Server and SQL Server.
7. Working with networking team to create Firewall rule requests to open multiple ports needed for Kepware, Ignition and SQL Server.
8. The candidate will take full ownership and acts as custodian to implement Ignition Reference Architecture for each site.
9. Should be able to debug issues in the end to end stack from networking to firewalls to connectivity and ensure that architecture is adhered to
10. Optional: Knowledge/Acquittance of PLC's, PCN networks, Digital Smart Factory, Data & Analytics
