Role Overview
The SAP Integration SME & Delivery Lead will be responsible for end-to-end architecture, delivery governance, and execution of integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP Integration Suite. This role requires deep hands-on expertise combined with program-level ownership, stakeholder management, and delivery assurance.
The individual will act as the single-point owner for integration strategy, ensuring scalable, secure, and clean-core compliant integration designs aligned with SAP best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Define enterprise-wide integration architecture using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
• Design integration patterns for S/4HANA (On-Prem & Cloud), ECC, SAP IBP, Ariba, SuccessFactors, and non-SAP applications.
• Establish standards for synchronous/asynchronous integrations, APIs, events, and message orchestration.
• Drive Clean Core compliant integration designs avoiding custom core modifications.
• Lead end-to-end integration delivery across multiple workstreams and vendors.
• Own integration roadmap, milestones, RAID, and dependency management.
• Review and approve Functional Specs, Technical Specs, and Integration Design Documents (IDDs).
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, performance benchmarks, and security standards.
• Manage SIT, UAT, Cutover, and Go-Live integration readiness.
• Hands-on leadership on:
o SAP Cloud Integration (iFlows, adapters, mappings)
o API Management (REST/OData APIs, policies, throttling)
o Event-driven integrations using Event Mesh
o Secure connectivity via Cloud Connector
• Guide teams on OAuth2, Certificates, JWT, PGP, Encryption, and key management.
• Act as integration SPOC for business, SAP functional teams, BASIS, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Coordinate with external vendors and system integrators.
• Define monitoring, alerting, and error-handling strategies.
• Lead hypercare and L3 support for critical integrations.
• Drive performance tuning, resiliency, and scalability improvements.
