Requirements:

  • Oversee product launches and merchandising on Shopify, including creating/publishing new products and bundles, uploading QA of images/content, and coordinating launches with Inventory, Logistics, and Marketing
  • Optimize Shopify storefronts for conversion and AOV, maintain product pages and collections, improve UX, and ensure site health and performance
  • Drive DTC revenue growth through pricing, discounts, bundling, and promotional strategies; support major sales moments like BFCM and seasonal promotions
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, provide regular reporting, and collaborate cross-functionally with Performance Marketing, Email, Creative, Operations, and CX to align DTC with broader channel strategy

Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.


Our client acquires eCommerce brands that have achieved product-market fit and early success but lack the talent and capital required to accelerate growth. Their growth playbook is built on three pillars: leveraging a strong balance sheet to fund product development and inventory, investing in and operationalizing new channels such as DTC, marketplaces, retail, and wholesale while expanding internationally, and developing and launching new products at scale. Their portfolio includes brands across baby and toddler sleep, parenting gear, health and wellness, and home and garden—each positioned for scalable, long-term growth.

Role Overview

The Shopify eCommerce Specialist will manage the day-to-day operational activities and execute high-impact projects across the Direct-to-Consumer channel using Shopify. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing Shopify storefronts to drive sales, increase conversion rates, and enhance the overall customer experience.

This is a newly created role within the eCommerce Sales function, reporting to the Director of Digital Sales, and collaborating cross-functionally with customer service, email marketing, performance marketing, creative, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Launches & Merchandising

  • Create and publish new products and bundles on Shopify, ensuring accuracy across pricing, variants, and inventory

  • Upload and QA product images, videos, and content in partnership with the Visual & Graphic Design Team

  • Coordinate product launches with Inventory, Logistics, and Marketing teams

  • Support promotional SKUs, sitewide sales, and limited-time offers

Shopify Storefront Optimization

  • Maintain accurate and compelling product pages, collections, and navigation

  • Optimize storefront UX to improve conversion rate and AOV

  • Implement best practices across themes, apps, and site merchandising

  • Maintain overall site health, speed, and functionality

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase DTC sales and profitability

  • Support major sales moments including BFCM, product launches, and seasonal promotions

  • Implement pricing, discounting, and bundling strategies aligned with margin goals

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

  • Monitor key metrics including sales, sessions, conversion rate, AOV, and bounce rate

  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities

  • Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to stakeholders

Customer Experience & Operations

  • Partner with Customer Experience to improve on-site clarity and reduce friction

  • Support subscriptions, returns, and post-purchase workflows

  • Ensure brand consistency and policy compliance across storefronts

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Performance Marketing, Email/SMS, Creative, Operations, and CX teams

  • Align DTC initiatives with broader channel strategies including Amazon and Retail

  • Learn and utilize Fulfil, the company’s ERP platform

Continuous Improvement and Innovation

  • Identify opportunities for CRO and process improvement

  • Implement GEO improvements for products

  • Test new Shopify tools, apps, and workflows

  • Share learnings and best practices with the broader team

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with international Shopify storefronts

  • Support future DTC tools such as subscriptions, loyalty, and referrals

  • Assist with alignment between DTC and marketplace strategies

Qualifications

Experience

  • 4+ years of hands-on Shopify experience strongly preferred — candidates with 3+ years of deep, demonstrable Shopify expertise managing multiple stores or brands are encouraged to apply.

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin, themes, and apps

  • Experience managing multiple Shopify stores or brands (preferred)

  • Experience working closely with paid media and lifecycle marketing teams (preferred)

Skills

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce metrics and CRO

  • Ability to optimize storefront UX for conversion rate and AOV

  • Proficiency in product setup, merchandising, and promotional execution

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and identify trends

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align with broader channel strategies

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and operational excellence
