**Job Title: SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance Solution Architect**
**Job Summary:**
The SAP Asset Management/Plant Maintenance Solution Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions that support asset management and plant maintenance processes. This role serves as a key advisor and technical expert, ensuring alignment between business needs and SAP functionalities within Syntax, enhancing operational efficiency and asset lifecycle management.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Solution Design:**
- Develop end-to-end SAP solutions for asset management and plant maintenance processes that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand operational goals and translate them into SAP configurations and workflows.
- **Implementation:**
- Lead the implementation of SAP modules such as SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and related tools.
- Configure SAP systems to ensure seamless integration with other modules and systems (e.g., SAP MM, SAP PP).
- Conduct testing, validation, and deployment of SAP solutions.
- **Business Process Optimization:**
- Analyze existing maintenance processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Suggest innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance asset lifecycle management.
- **Leadership and Collaboration:**
- Work closely with business leaders, project teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of SAP projects.
- Provide guidance to SAP consultants and developers.
- Act as the subject matter expert for SAP PM and Asset Management functionalities.
- **Training and Support:**
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops to end-users.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP PM-related issues.
- **Documentation:**
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configurations, and user manuals.
**Required Qualifications:**
- **Technical Expertise:**
- Deep knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and asset management modules.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP PM and other modules like MM, SD, PP, and FI/CO.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO, CPI, BTP, and API management.
- Understanding of both on-premise and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, SAP BTP).
- **Business Acumen:**
- Understanding of asset-intensive industries, particularly the mining sector and maintenance management processes.
- Ability to align SAP solutions with business strategy and objectives.
- **Problem-Solving Skills:**
- Strong analytical skills to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Innovative thinking to propose efficient solutions.
- **Communication and Interpersonal Skills:**
- Effective communication with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- **Project Management:**
- Experience managing SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
- Ability to work within deadlines and budgets, leading SAP implementation projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- **Adaptability:**
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business environments.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (Private and Public Cloud) and SAP Fiori applications.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and IoT integration.
- Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager and SAP Business Process Management tools.
- Experience with data migration and system integration methodologies.
**Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP PM or other relevant SAP modules are preferred.
