Job description

This role is open to candidates based in LATAM, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Please note that as this role supports U.S.-based clients, candidates must be available to work during U.S. business hours aligned with the client’s time zone.

Role Overview

The Short-Form Video Editor will produce compelling short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with a primary emphasis on video editing. This role focuses on transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality assets that resonate with a young adult, safety-conscious audience while maintaining strong brand alignment.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing

  • Edit and produce short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Transform raw footage into polished, engaging, high-quality visual content.

Content Creation

  • Develop content tailored to a young adult demographic aligned with public safety messaging.

  • Ensure all content reflects the brand’s positioning and target audience.

Text Overlays & Captions

  • Add creative text overlays and captions to enhance clarity, accessibility, and engagement across social platforms.

Social Media Alignment

  • Work within brand guidelines to maintain consistent positioning and messaging within the public safety niche.

Design & Production Tools

  • Use tools such as Figma, Adobe Premiere, CapCut, and other relevant video editing software to produce professional-quality content.

Static Content Support

  • Occasionally create static social media posts to complement video content and drive engagement.

Feedback & Iteration

  • Accept and implement team feedback to refine and improve content.

  • Work collaboratively with the team to refine content based on feedback, with a positive, growth-oriented approach to iteration.

Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the marketing team to ensure content supports overall campaign strategies and objectives.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, with a focus on video editing and social media content.

  • Experience creating engaging short-form video content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

  • Experience working with raw footage and transforming it into polished content.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Figma, and other relevant design tools.

  • Comfortable communicating clearly in English — written and verbal — in a remote team environment.

  • Solid understanding of brand positioning and targeting for a young adult, safety-conscious audience.

  • Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback as part of a supportive creative process.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
