Job description

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned region in the compressor oil

  • Plan and execute sales activities to meet revenue and market share goals.

  • Actively look for new ISPs, Customers through prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events, and digital platforms.

  • Keep track of market trends, customer expectations, and competitor activity to spot new growth opportunities.

Customer Engagement & Technical Support

  • Build strong working relationships with OEMs, ISPs, key decision-makers, and end users.

  • Understand customer applications and challenges, and recommend the right lubrication solutions.

  • Clearly explain the technical and commercial benefits of Klüber Lubrication products, including performance improvement and cost savings.

  • Respond quickly to customer questions or issues and work towards long‑term customer satisfaction.

Channel & Sales Operations

  • Manage and grow business through channel partners to ensure good market coverage and service levels.

  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales support, supply chain, and planning to ensure smooth order execution.

  • Review sales performance regularly and take corrective actions where needed.

  • Update customer visits, opportunities, and forecasts accurately in the CRM system.

Market Insight & Collaboration

  • Monitor competitor products and market movements in Compressor segment.

  • Share customer and market feedback to support product improvement and new product development.

  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and technical seminars to stay connected with the industry and customers.

  • Work closely with technical, R&D, and marketing teams to support business growth.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Follow all company policies, including HSE and quality standards.

  • Provide regular sales updates, forecasts, and market insights to management.

Qualifications:

Experience & Qualifications

Must Have

  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering within industrial lubricants.

  • Experience working with channel partners and direct B2B customers.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering or a related field.

  • Comfortable with frequent travel across North and East India and other regions when required.

  • Hands‑on experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.

Nice to Have

  • MBA in Marketing.

  • Exposure to market research, competitor benchmarking, or product development.

  • Familiarity with compressor lubrication applications.
