Roles & Responsibilities

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics, Commercial Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Science, Commercial Science, Risk Management or similar fields
  • Strong analytical and meticulous mindset with the ability to objectively assess own and others’ work; team-oriented with good communication
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in audit tools; knowledge of AI considered a plus
  • Fluent in English, with Dutch or French (all three as an asset)

Requirements:

  • Collaborate on risk-related projects including Risk Management, Internal Audits, Cyber Security and Data Privacy within a multidisciplinary team
  • Gain understanding of a client’s risk landscape, assess maturity of capabilities, and make recommendations
  • Identify and assess vulnerabilities in clients’ control environments or processes through interviews and review of systems and documents
  • Carry out client-site certification processes, including examination of business and IT processes (security, continuity and change management) and contribute to resilience strategies from governance to awareness and Technology Risk gap assessments

What will you be doing?:

As a Junior Risk Advisor, your duties are highly varied. Together with more experienced colleagues, you work on various risk-related projects such as Risk Management, Internal Audits, Cyber Security and Data Privacy. In practice, this involves:  

  • Gaining an understanding of a client’s current risk landscape, assessing the maturity of their capabilities and making recommendations.  
  • Identifying and assessing vulnerabilities in clients’ control environments or processes through interviews and the inspection of systems and documents. 
  • Carrying out certification processes at the client site, including the examination of business processes and IT processes (such as security, continuity and change management). 
  • Discovering the softer side of Cybersecurity and helping our customers build more resilient defense strategies from governance to awareness and Technology Risk gap assessments.  

You will work as part of a team that helps to ensure that the strategies and operations of our clients align with their objectives. As a team you will provide independent, critical advice to develop tailored internal control frameworks and optimize business processes.  

What do you bring to the table?:
  • You will graduate with a Master’s degree in Business Economics, Commercial Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Science, Commercial Science, Risk Management or similar fields.  
  • If you were to describe yourself, one of the first terms to come to mind would be “flexible”. Juggling multiple deadlines or dealing with several different files on the same day? A piece of cake for you.  
  • You are happy to take the initiative and present new ideas, but also receptive to your colleagues’ point of view. You make sure to keep them informed of a project’s progress; team spirit is the way to go for you.  
  • Your work is analytical and meticulous. You are capable of objectively and critically assessing your own and others’ work. 
  • You are tech-savvy, with familiarity in audit tools and AI considered a plus. 
  • You are fluent in English, combined with Dutch or French. All three is an additional asset
