Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related business and/or marketing fields.
  • 3+ years of experience with an e-commerce platform and a deep understanding of financial and business needs; FMCG experience is advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of WooCommerce, Rakuten, Zendesk, WMS, Metorik, and Excel.
  • Fluent written and spoken Japanese and English; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong time management and the ability to work independently and in a team.

Requirements:

  • Submit e-commerce orders prior to the cut-off time for shipping to the 3PL in Japan.
  • Oversee the order fulfilment and shipping process from order inception through delivery to the customer.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy between the 3PL and WooCommerce; reconcile inventory receivals with the 3PL and monthly inventory reports.
  • Forecast inventory stock and replenishment orders in collaboration with the Logistics Demand Planning Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Submit e-commerce orders prior to the cut off time for shipping to our 3PL in Japan
  • Oversee the order fulfilment and shipping process from order inception through delivery to our customer.
  • Manually update and maintain order status for each order using our tracking system.
  • Constant communication and problem solving with our 3PL.
  • Monitoring inventory accuracy between 3PL and Woocommerce.
  • Reconcile inventory receivals with 3PL as well as monthly inventory reports.
  • Forecast inventory stock and replenishment orders working along with our Logistics & Demand Planning Manager.
  • Ensure customers receive the order within the estimates and monitor delivery times in our tracking system.
  • Monitoring sales, returns, inventory with the help of Metorik to comply with our objectives.
  • Handle all incoming customer requests for returns and approval of RMA’s in coordination with the 3PL as well as any customer enquiry in regards product availability or questions.



WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related business and/or marketing fields.
  • 3+ years of working with an e-commerce platform plus a deep understanding of financial and business needs (within a FMCG environment would be advantageous). Additional experience in working with startup companies would be a plus.
  • Good technical knowledge on WooCommerce, Rakuten, Zendesk, WMS, Metorik, Excel, and WMS would be a plus
  • Quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus, and adapt to a variety of challenges.
  • A comprehensive understanding of logistics and 3PLs systems.
  • Ability to conduct detailed procedures in a time constrained environment.
  • Setting the direction and establishing a clear Scope of Work. 
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; mature and engaging personality.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency. 
  • Able to work independently and within a team.
