Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's Degree preferred)
10+ years of applicable experience in tech, CPG, and life science industries
CPA preferred
Big 4 or national and regional accounting experience preferred
Requirements:
Lead a full-cycle accounting close and produce timely, accurate monthly financial statements; analyze financial reports and communicate results to founders.
Act as the point of contact for external auditors and tax preparers; oversee bookkeeping, reconciliations, accrual journal entries, and GAAP compliance.
Manage Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and procurement/inventory management (including PO, inventory, warehouse management, and cost accounting).
Build financial models, budgets, and cash forecasts; implement and optimize ERP and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Expensify, Ramp, etc.) and ensure proper revenue recognition (ASC606).

In this role, you'll demonstrate proficiency in managing multiple client projects at once, while overseeing and supporting an onshore and offshore team of accountants.
What you'll do:

Accounts Payable (processing bills, set up vendors)
Payroll (set-up, processing, and benefits)
Purchase order, inventory, and warehouse management
Experience accounting for inventory and COGS (bill of materials, inventory assemblies, cost accounting)
Build financial models, budgets, and cash forecasts
Proficiency in three-statement financial modeling
Able to build cash and accrual-based forecasts
Implement and use various accounting software solutions
