Product Manager - Security

This is a remote position.

Walker Bowen Talent Partners, a trusted advisor to scaling teams, is seeking a B2B Product Manager with enterprise networking security industry experience for our client, a growing company whose security platform makes it easy to securely access networks, technical infrastructure, and SaaS apps for companies of all sizes.

This role is remote with a strong preference for West Coast and ability to occasionally work in the office in Palo Alto, CA.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the direction of our client’s product and translate customer, market, and our client’s needs into new features and solutions.

Every day is different, but the commonality is that their customers depend on them to get their work done every day, and you’ll be a crucial part of that success story as you work with customers, engineering, design, and customer-facing teams.

• Understand the customer and problem space deeply
  
• Work with the PM team to plan product roadmap and vision
  
• Work across engineering, product, and design to execute on specific feature implementation and development; align teams, represent the product and business needs, and assist with technical and design decisions where applicable
  
• Work with marketing and go-to-market teams to understand feature requests and manage launches
  
• Represent our client when speaking to customers, at external events, etc.

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree from top university – Computer Science or related field
  
• 3-7 years’ experience with a fast-growing B2B (enterprise) startup (0-1)
  
• Demonstrated experience owning products from 0 -> 1
  
• Extended time in the security space and understands the nuances
  
• Strong technical familiarity and desire to dive into the weeds from SQL queries to networking intricacies to admin toolsets (identity providers, ACLs, MDMs)
  
• Demonstrated agency and high energy to execute fast and own products
  
• Client facing – strong communication and professionalism to shape product design
  
• Interest in growing with the role and mentoring younger team members
