The Senior Manager, Product Strategy is a cross-functional role within ProCrewz responsible for translating business objectives and domain expertise into actionable product requirements. This role serves as the connective tissue between finance, operations, and engineering — driving alignment on payroll, compliance, and workforce management initiatives across the ProCrewz platform.


General Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Own product strategy and requirements development for finance, payroll, and compliance-adjacent workstreams
  • Serve as the primary domain SME for payroll processing, invoicing, and labor compliance rules
  • Partner with engineering pod leads on backlog refinement, story definition, and acceptance criteria
  • Lead persona definition and stakeholder alignment across the family of companies
  • Drive cross-functional workshops and discovery sessions with operations, finance, and client stakeholders
  • Maintain and evolve product documentation, process maps, and domain knowledge bases
  • Support customers, and other customer delivery commitments with domain expertise and requirements clarity
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Product Strategy on roadmap planning and prioritization
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 4+ years in a product management, business analysis, or product strategy role
  • Strong domain knowledge in payroll, finance, accounting, or workforce management
  • Experience translating complex operational requirements into clear product specifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce-based platforms or HCM/staffing technology preferred
  • Experience in sports media, broadcast production, live events, or related industry (Preferred)
  • Background working in PE-backed or high-growth technology environments (Preferred)
  • Exposure to labor compliance, union rules, or multi-state payroll regulations (Preferred)

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000 to $200,000, plus benefits as applicable. This position is not eligible for stocks and/or stock options. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
