  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients, coordinating with the development team to deliver timely solutions.
  • Provide client training and create user guides, gathering feedback to drive system enhancements.

Our Client is currently seeking a dynamic and client-focused Technical Business Analyst to join their team and play a key role in implementing and enhancing their software solutions.

Job Summary: As a Technical Business Analyst at Our Client, the selected candidate will serve as a crucial link between clients and the development team. The individual will be responsible for understanding Our Client's software/system in-depth and working closely with clients' wealth managers to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. The role involves identifying client needs, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with the development team on future system improvements. Knowledge of wealth management business processes and exposure to the BDA system used by the JSE will be advantageous in this role.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement:

    • Build strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for technical and business-related inquiries.
    • Understand clients' specific needs, goals, and challenges in asset management.
  2. Software Implementation:

    • Learn and master Our Client's software/system to effectively guide clients through the implementation process.
    • Work closely with clients' wealth managers to configure and customize the system to meet their unique requirements.
  3. Issue Resolution:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients, ensuring timely resolution.
    • Collaborate with Our Client's development team to address and resolve software-related problems.
  4. Client Training:

    • Provide training and support to clients' wealth managers to ensure they can effectively use Our Client's software.
    • Create user guides and documentation as necessary.
  5. Feedback and Improvement:

    • Gather feedback from clients regarding system performance, usability, and areas for improvement.
    • Translate client feedback into actionable insights and work with Our Client's development team to implement enhancements.
  6. Wealth Management Knowledge:

    • Utilize wealth management industry knowledge to better understand clients' requirements, including concepts like "corporate actions" and "managed funds."
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  7. BDA System Exposure:

    • Leverage any previous exposure to the BDA system used by the JSE to provide insights and solutions that align with client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Business, Computer Science).
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role, preferably in the financial industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand complex software systems.
  • Knowledge of wealth management concepts, including corporate actions, managed funds, and investment securities.
  • Familiarity with the BDA system used by the JSE is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
