We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance database solutions for a federal project. This role involves creating efficient database structures, ensuring data security, optimizing performance, and supporting seamless integration with applications and services.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience working in secure environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement database architectures to support mission-critical systems.
Ensure database security, compliance, and performance standards are met.
Optimize database queries, indexing, and overall performance.
Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams for smooth integration.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve database performance and availability issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
Strong knowledge of database design, security, and optimization best practices.
Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data integration.
Ability to work in secure and compliance-driven environments.
IRS MBI Clearance is required.
