This is a remote position.

Role Summary:

Hey there! Are you an expert wordsmith looking for a new challenge? We've got just the gig for you! CollegeLab is hiring for the position of Freelance and Part-time Editor, where you'll work closely with our team of Mentors and Writing Coaches to bring out the best in our students' writing assignments.

The pay is per word, based on your experience, so the better you are, the more you'll earn! As a key player in our team, you'll attend our top-notch editorial training modules, adhere to our quality control processes, and collaborate with our Regional Heads, Career Counsellors and Mentors to ensure we always deliver the best outcomes.

So what are your responsibilities? You'll help our students by editing their writing assignments, or where required, review and offer feedback to improve student submissions.

Requirements

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree required. Excellent editing, writing and communication skills in English. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Word).

Preferred: prior work experience in creative writing, academic writing, or editing.

Candidates will be expected to submit a sample of their writing in addition to their updated résumé.
