Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Solutions Architect to join our dynamic technology team. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for our Clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our Clients' cloud architecture to meet business goals and drive innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design and Architecture:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solutions that align with Client goals.
  • Develop architecture blueprints, best practices, and guidelines for Cloud solution implementations.

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Cloud services into overall solution architecture.

Cloud Migration and Optimization:

  • Assess existing on-premises or cloud-based systems and formulate migration strategies.
  • Optimize existing Cloud deployments for performance, cost, and scalability.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager for automated and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.

Security and Compliance:

  • Design and implement security measures to protect data and applications on the Cloud.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Performance Optimization:

  • Optimize Cloud services and configurations for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including developers, operations, and management, to communicate technical solutions effectively.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to share knowledge and promote best practices.

Documentation:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture, configurations, and deployment processes.
  • Create project documentation for Clients.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform.
  • In-depth understanding of GCP services, products, and solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager).
  • Experience with security, compliance, and best practices on GCP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.



Preferred Skills:

  • GCP Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
  • Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools.
