Full Stack WordPress Developer

This is a remote position.

The Developer is responsible for doing development work for tasks. You are capable of following the technical scoping for a task and implementing the solution. You learn on the job and communicate often. The Developer reports to the Team Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Implement simple tasks reliably and confidently
  

• Capable of implementing complex tasks with guidance and detailed scoping
  

• Follow the technical scoping and ask pertinent questions
  

• Ensure information is clear and budget is adequate before starting a task
  

• Actively provide timely feedback when task budget or deadline is compromised
  

• Provide a status report when requested
  

• Capable of self-training when provided with training materials
  

• Ensure your deliverables are tested and uphold our standards of quality
  

• Learn and improve when provided with feedback
  

Requirements

Skills/Proficiencies

• Write reliable code
  

• Experienced with git
  

• Fast learner
  

For backend developers

• Experienced with WordPress API
  

• Hands-on experience with ACF, Yoast
  

• Capable of implementing marketing integrations (HubSpot, Marketo) when provided with scoping
  

• Experienced with PHP
  

For frontend developers

• Basic user knowledge of WordPress
  

• Experienced with SCSS
  

• Experienced with CSS and JS
