  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and establish engineering best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Success) to gather feedback and drive platform improvements.

Job description

This is a remote position.


Our client is a rapidly expanding SaaS company revolutionizing the tech space. They are searching for an innovative and hands-on Lead Software Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a key role in driving the company’s technological growth.

The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for full-cycle software development, including system architecture, design, development, and deployment. This role requires a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B SaaS, cloud infrastructure, and a passion for building scalable solutions.

The Work:

  • Own the end-to-end software development process, from architecture design to deployment and optimization.
  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Build and manage public APIs, optimize databases, and ensure the efficiency of both front-end and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Customer Success) to integrate feedback and enhance the platform.
  • Lead and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and DevOps processes.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Continuously improve system security and monitoring to safeguard data and ensure high availability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, helping to establish best practices across the engineering team.

What You’ve Already Done (Requirements):

  • 7+ years of experience in full-stack software development, preferably within the B2B SaaS space.
  • Proven experience building scalable, high-performance systems.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, .NET, SQL/NoSQL databases, and API development. 
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered solutions is a bonus.
  • Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary: $150,000 - $170,000
  • Stock options and comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance
  • Flexible remote work environment (must be East Coast based) with opportunities for professional growth​
