Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company transforming the travel and meetings technology space. They are looking for a driven, tech-savvy Account Executive (BDR) to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in driving continued growth and expanding their market presence.
The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from cold outreach and product demos to closing deals, upselling, and managing renewals. This role requires a proactive, positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the travel/meetings technology space and a strong background in SaaS sales.
The Work:
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and cold outreach to product demos, negotiations, and deal closures.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools and outbound strategies to ensure consistent deal flow.
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs and offering tailored solutions.
Conduct product demos that effectively communicate the value of the client’s SaaS platform to prospects in the travel/meetings tech industry.
Identify upsell opportunities and manage contract renewals to maximize customer lifetime value.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Customer Success, to ensure smooth onboarding and a seamless client experience.
Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to effectively position the company’s offerings.
What you’ve already done (requirements):
3-5+ years of experience in SaaS technology sales, preferably within the travel/meetings technology space, with a background in startup environments.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced, high-growth, startup environment with an ACV range of $1K–$4K.
Strong understanding of SaaS products and the ability to clearly communicate their value.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a positive, go-getter attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Experience building and managing a sales pipeline, with proficiency in CRM.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Compensation:
Salary base of 60k - 70k + commission = 100k - 120k OTE
