SCA Site Builder developer

Education:

•  Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

•  4+ years working with NetSuite (SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteCommerce Advanced).
•  Proven background in web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
•  Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue) is a plus.

Technical Skills:

•  Proficient in SuiteScript (1.0 & 2.x), RESTlets, and Suitelets.
•  Familiarity with SCA architecture, Handlebars templating, SCIS is a plus.
•  Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
•  Experience with debugging tools in NetSuite and browser dev tools.

SuiteCommerce Advanced Customizations

• Develop, implement, and maintain custom extensions, modules, and features within SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) to enhance user experiences and meet business requirements
• Customize the SCA front-end layouts, templates, and themes using Handlebars, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with SuiteScript (2.x) to integrate SCA with other NetSuite modules (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Implement custom records, fields, and workflows to ensure seamless data flow between SCA and back-office processes (e.g., inventory, order management, fulfillment).
  

Technical Design & Architecture

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and design robust, scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain integration points with third-party services and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers).

Performance & Optimization

• Analyze the performance of the SCA storefront and optimize site speed, code efficiency, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, reliability, and scalability.
