Roles & Responsibilities

.NET/.NET Core development experience with ability to design, develop, and test GIS-enabled web applications.
Strong GIS knowledge: spatial data formats (GeoJSON, Raster, Vector) and experience with GIS packages (ArcGIS, GRASS GIS, QGIS) and the OpenStreetMap ecosystem.
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python, with experience using Leaflet, GeoPandas, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular or Vue).
Experience designing data models/schemas and metadata for spatial data, and building data pipelines with cloud storage (CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Blob Storage) and cloud-native compute.

Requirements:

Solution design, development, and testing of GIS-enabled web applications.
Integrate GIS functionalities into web applications, leveraging spatial standards (GeoJSON, Raster, Vector) and GIS packages (ArcGIS, GRASS GIS, QGIS) and the OpenStreetMap ecosystem.
Build spatial and non-spatial data pipelines and design data models, schemas, and metadata for spatial data.
Work with JavaScript/Python, Leaflet, GeoPandas, Node.js/Express, and front-end frameworks (Angular or Vue), plus REST/GraphQL APIs, cloud-native/serverless architectures, and data storage options (CosmosDB, PostgreSQL, Blob Storage).
