Roles & Responsibilities

5+ years of data engineering experience
Snowflake data warehouse experience
Relational database experience, ideally PostgreSQL
ETL/ELT experience with dbt for transformations and data loading with Stitch and Fivetran

Requirements:

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Stitch, and Fivetran.
Build and manage Snowflake data warehouse schemas, performance tuning, and governance.
Collaborate on BI initiatives, implementing BI tools (Looker or Tableau) and handling admin tasks (permissions, user groups).
Work in a startup environment, proactively solving problems in a small, collaborative team.

Job description

Job Role: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE

5+ years of data engineering experience
Snowflake database experience
Relationship database experience, ideally Postgress
ETL experience (specifically DBT experience for transformation workflow not just SQL and SSIS)
Stitch experience (for loading data), FiveTran
Python experience (candidates should be using python on a day to day basis)
Experience with a major BI tool like Lookr or Tableau
- Ideally has experience implementing a BI tool
- Must have some sys admin experience on the BI tool side setting up permissions, user groups, etc.
Startup experience (being comfortable working on a smaller team) - jumping into problem solving, collaborative, responsive, etc.
