Proven expertise in Adobe Illustrator

Requirements:

Design and develop labels, artwork, and graphics utilizing Adobe Illustrator and label printing software such as Bartender, incorporating brand elements, product information, and ensuring compliance with all labeling regulations and printing requirements, including color management and file preparation
Collaborate closely with product managers, marketing teams, and engineers to understand product details, design preferences, file specifications, printing quality, and regulatory requirements
Recreate existing labels from a different label printing software for the new label printing software (Bartender)
Develop and maintain style guides for labeling to ensure brand consistency across all products

Job description

Position- Graphic Designer
Location- Remote
Duration- Contract
Rate- DOE

Responsibilities:

Design and develop labels, artwork, and graphics utilizing Adobe Illustrator and label printing software such as Bartender, incorporating brand elements, product information, and ensuring compliance with all labeling regulations and printing requirements, including color management and file preparation.
Collaborate closely with product managers, marketing teams, and engineers to understand product details, design preferences, file specifications, printing quality, and regulatory requirements.
Recreate existing labels from a different label printing software for the new label printing software (Bartender).
Develop and maintain style guides for labeling to ensure brand consistency across all products.
Prepare design mockups and prototypes for review and approval.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a graphic designer with a focus on packaging and labeling design.
Proven expertise in Adobe Illustrator.
Understanding of printing processes and prepress requirements (preferred).
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g. GHS, ASTM)
Knowledge of relevant labeling regulations (a plus).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently.
