JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE OVERVIEW
Client seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional transformation initiatives within its global procurement and supply chain organization.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in procurement operations, SAP-enabled transformation, supply chain process optimization, and PMO governance.
This consultant will play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with technology, driving change management, and ensuring disciplined execution through the project lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership:
Serve as the strategic point of contact for procurement and supply chain transformation programs.
Lead cross-functional program teams to deliver value through redesigned business processes and systems.
Facilitate executive reporting and decision-making through structured governance mechanisms.
SAP & Procurement Transformation:
Support design and deployment of SAP S/4HANA and associated procurement modules (MM, Ariba, etc.).
Oversee alignment of business requirements with system capabilities and drive solution validation.
Coordinate testing, training, and deployment activities with global and regional stakeholders.
Business Process Design & Optimization:
Lead business process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state design for procurement and supply chain operations.
Drive standardization, automation, and integration of processes across global business units.
Ensure compliance with global policies, regulatory standards, and quality expectations.
PMO Governance & Controls:
Implement and maintain program management frameworks aligned with client's PMO standards.
Track progress against key milestones, manage risks, and escalate issues as necessary.
Manage program budgets, resource allocations, and vendor coordination as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
Build strong relationships with business, IT, and vendor partners.
Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and working sessions.
Support communication and change strategies to ensure user adoption and stakeholder alignment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or IT-enabled transformation programs
Proven program or project management experience in large, matrixed environments
Strong knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA preferred) and procurement processes (e.g., Source-to-Pay, Supplier Management, BOM)
Experience with supply chain planning, master data, and operational execution
Demonstrated experience in business process design and organizational change management
Familiarity with PMO governance frameworks, tools, and reporting methods
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Consulting experience with a Big Four or top-tier management consultancy
SAP certification or formal training in procurement-related modules
Experience in the consumer health, life sciences, or pharmaceutical industries
