5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, preferably in C++.
Proven experience managing individuals, including providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
Strong project management, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bridge engineering and leadership.
Requirements:
Lead ~20 engineers and testers across three Agile teams to improve the software underlying Kobo's eReaders.
Provide technical leadership across the software delivery lifecycle from system design through monitoring incident response.
Mentor and coach team members, conducting 1:1s and performance feedback to support professional development.
Collaborate with cross-functional peers in Product, Design, and Architecture to guide initiatives from conception to production, and continuously optimize team processes.
