Freelance Presentation Designer

Location: Remote US

Project based – 10 hours per week

PR: $28/hr on W2

 

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Presentation Designer with a specialization in presentation design to join our creative team. In this role, you'll transform complex ideas into compelling, visually engaging presentations that capture attention and communicate clearly. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product, sales, and leadership—to ensure that our presentations are not only beautiful but also strategic, persuasive, and on-brand. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and storytelling, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

 

Key Responsibilities

Design high-quality, on-brand presentations (Google Slides, Keynote, etc.) for internal and external audiences.

Translate abstract ideas, data, and content into clear, visually impactful stories.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand goals, target audiences, and messaging.

Develop and maintain presentation templates, style guides, and design standards.

Enhance visuals with custom graphics, illustrations, and data visualizations.

Ensure consistency across all design deliverables and platforms.

Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hard Skills:

Proficient in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote) with extensive experience in creating and animating dynamic presentations.

Strong knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Expertise in typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.

Ability to create infographics, charts, and data visualizations.

Understanding of brand guidelines and how to apply them effectively.

 

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and active listening skills to understand project needs.

Strong storytelling ability to craft presentations that resonate with audiences.

Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

Collaborative and open to feedback, while also able to work independently.

Creative problem-solving and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of professional design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating strong presentation design.

Experience working in corporate, agency, or client-facing environments.

Knowledge of UI/UX principles or digital media design (a plus).
