Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
3+ years of experience in electrical substation design, protection and control, and switchgear
Knowledge of national and industry standards (IEEE, NEC/Code, NEMA) and experience with protective relaying and commissioning
Proficient with engineering design software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and electrical analysis tools (ETAP, SKM, or equivalent); strong communication and project management skills
Requirements:
Design and specify electrical power systems for mission-critical substations (MV/HV) including protection, control, and metering
Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates; contribute to project schedules and procurement
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams; ensure compliance with codes, standards, and safety requirements
Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting; provide technical guidance during construction and startup
