THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Analyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing market data, maintaining assigned databases, and preparing presentations. Additionally, the Senior Analyst is responsible for interacting with clients and other companies to gather data, responding to customer inquiries, and communicating updated content. At the Senior Analyst level, this role is responsible for leading automotive research in Asia.

This is remote position. The ideal candidate will be based in Asia, but we are open to applications from elsewhere if the candidate has the required Chinese language skills. International travel will be required on occasions.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
  • Research, write, and publish reports on assigned topics and related ecosystem system market trends on a timely basis. This will include analysis at a system, sensor, semiconductor, and software level across the entire ecosystem.
  • Suggest and develop new models and research areas in line with the overall vertical theme
  • Take a lead in a specific area – e.g. a region and/or technology topic
  • Client Inquiry support - prioritize and respond to customer requests
  • Support global forecasts and analysis by providing detailed insight into market trends
  • Support the sales team in identifying new prospects and demonstrating our expertise during sales calls
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • Relevant Bachelor's or graduate degree in Business/Engineering subjects, or in a writing-related field such as journalism.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Chinese is a must.
  • Vast experience in market research, journalism, product marketing, engineering, or field application relating to the Asian automotive market. In-depth knowledge of the Chinese market will be advantageous.
  • Highly analytical individual able to work autonomously in the identification, preparation, and presentation of data analyses
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Domo will be advantageous.
  • Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
