3+ years of direct project estimating experience on construction projects for schools, universities, libraries, assisted living, or public sector works, with project sizes of $20M+.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (applicable experience may substitute for the degree).
Excellent ability to read blueprints and specifications with a solid working knowledge of the commercial construction industry.
Experience with estimating tools and software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage) and online bid solicitation tools; proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Review drawings and specifications to develop accurate bids and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and designers.
Collaborate with the estimating team; lead and support bidding efforts for phased, occupied projects, additions, and tenant fit-outs, and assist with online bid solicitations.

Well versed in excel and all MS Office Programs. specifically Excel for tracking construction costing. Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and Sage estimating software programs a plus.
Strong and proactive communication (written, phone, and in person).
Ability to work well with coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and designers.
Team players can take initiative, self-guide, and help lead the company's estimating efforts.
Experience with phased, occupied projects, additions, and tenant fit outs.
