You will be immersed in the accurate research, development, and testing of new colours. Your responsibilities will encompass planning, designing, conducting, and reporting fundamental research.

What you can look forward to in this Role:

Anticipate an enriching experience in this role as you report directly to our R&D Manager, Colour, and engage with colleagues from around the world. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, design, conduct and report projects using existing or new scientific methods and theories to solve problems, and improve or generate new products and processes.
  • Devising research methods, setting up laboratory tests equipment, building models and prototypes, calculating and analyzing test results, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions.
  • Evaluate the economic impact of a project.
  • Providing support to factories on various tasks such as pilot production, quality control issues, reworks, product adjustments, manufacturing procedures, and complaints.
  • Preparing calculations, specifications, and other technical documentation to facilitate the manufacturing of prototype designs.
  • Developing and maintaining technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and development.
  • Adhering to all guidelines and group procedures regarding Health & Safety and Environment.

What does it take to become our new team member?

  • University degree or equivalent in technical studies (Engineering) or Chemistry would be valuable
  • Validated experience in Coatings R&D
  • Specific knowledge in colours, paints and coatings technologies would be valuable
  • Experience in development of validated colours and metallics.
  • Able to communicate in a clear and consistent way – both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English
  • Computer Skills (Windows Office) would be valuable.
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually.
