This is your opportunity to be part of a world-leading coatings supplier, working alongside our Area Finance Manager and a dynamic, diverse team of colleagues from around the globe.

As our new Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting activities related to taxes, compliance, accounting, and audits for Spain and Portugal.

You will be actively involved in creating and managing a tax calendar to ensure statutory deadlines are met while coordinating all tax activities with KPMG.

This exciting role includes attending to tax-related audits and requests, as well as developing and documenting internal controls related to taxes. Additionally, you will prepare statistical declarations for government institutions, support e-invoicing processes, and contribute to various tax projects within the region.

Moreover, you can look forward to:

• Coordinating external and internal audits
• Assisting with research and planning related to indirect tax issues
• Supporting finance projects
• Preparing statutory financial reports
• Managing relationships with banks
• Reviewing and approving internal controls
• Coordinating with Global Business Services for accounting requests

We encourage you to apply if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/business or equivalent proven experience
• Experience in Similar Positions
• Advance skills in Excel
• Proficient in ERP Systems
• Master in Taxes would be an advantage.
• Great communication skills in English and Portuguese. Spanish would be a plus.
