Job Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and expanding market share by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and building long-term relationships with clients. This individual will play a key role in shaping the company’s sales strategies and contributing to its continued success in the industrial and utility equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of business development or sales experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 30–50% as needed (domestic and international).
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and market research tools.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in aerial lifts, utility vehicles, or heavy machinery sales.
  • Experience working with municipalities, utilities, or telecom providers.
  • Familiarity with government contracts is a plus.
