Key Responsibilities
Implement Kheyti product innovation roadmap for core greenhouses and add-on products like tunnels, hoop houses, crop covers, agro voltaics etc.
Conduct discovery conversations with farmers and other stakeholders to understand customer and market needs
Ideate, conceptualise and prototype designs and materials in our R&D center and derive data based decisions
Conduct field visits and engage in conversations with Kheyti Team & Farmers to understand farmers’ feedback, on-ground challenges, regional agro-climatic conditions etc.
Convert ideas to sketches to designs. Testing of designs for strength & loads like wind or dead load on relevant softwares
Support on other R&D activities like crop R&D, protocol building, training etc.
Create SOPs and key documentation and build QA/QC systems
Ideal Candidate
The role requires a hands-on, field-oriented professional with a strong inclination toward human-centered, data-driven innovation.
Must-Haves
7+ Years of experience product design
Mechanical Engineering Background
Willingness to engage in extensive fieldwork
7-10 days of travel each month
Product management experience
Strong project and stakeholder management skills
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in agri-infrastructure or greenhouse systems
Exposure to R&D environments, prototyping, or QA/QC systems
Not a Fit
Someone who wants to work from home, full-time. Field exposure is crucial for this role
Someone who wants to focus only on the "product roadmap" in isolation, without deep collaboration
Someone who prioritizes "global standards" and branded components over locally repairable, affordable, and accessible solutions
