Prior experience in training, coaching, or instructional design (remote training experience is a plus)

Job description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Trucking Insurance Trainer to educate and support our team in understanding the complexities of commercial trucking insurance. This role is essential for ensuring our staff is well-versed in underwriting, selling, claims handling, regulatory compliance, and customer service specific to the trucking industry.
Develop and deliver training programs on trucking insurance policies, procedures and regulations for new and existing agents.
Help coach and equip new trucking sales agents in effective prospecting, relationship-building, persuasive presentations, and closing techniques
Document and maintain up-to-date training manuals, classes, SOPs, and video tutorials
Collaborate with management to improve workflows and reduce errors
Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules
Stay current with industry trends, FMCSA regulations, and insurance best practices.
Conduct assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and compliance teams to ensure training aligns with operational needs.
Provide one-on-one coaching and support as needed.
May need to cross train in Personal Lines and other Commercial Lines
