Livestream Event Support Specialist

Our client is looking for a Livestream Event Support Specialist. They operate in the live streaming and event production technology space and have supported a growing number of high-impact virtual and hybrid events in recent years through reliable, tech-forward solutions.

This part-time role focuses on supporting live productions in real time, ensuring streams run smoothly and issues are resolved quickly. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, enjoys live events and production environments, communicates clearly under pressure, and thrives in fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live streams during events to ensure proper resolution, frame rate, aspect ratio, and audio quality
  

• Review video quality including color accuracy, exposure, sharpness, and overall visual performance
  

• Listen to live audio feeds to confirm clarity, consistency, and appropriate levels
  

• Verify accuracy of on-screen graphics, overlays, text, and other visual elements
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time during live productions
  

• Communicate promptly with internal teams, videographers, and clients to report issues and coordinate next steps
  

• Escalate complex issues when needed while maintaining a calm, professional presence
  

• Support multiple live events simultaneously when required
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AV, live production, IT, or a related technical role
  

• Hands-on experience with live streaming or video production environments
  

• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to think clearly under pressure
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  

• Strong Windows/PC proficiency
  

Qualifications

• Experience working with OBS, vMix, or similar live video switching software
  

• Background in AV production, audio engineering, networking, or IT support
  

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, self-starting approach
  

• Comfort working during live events with a strong sense of urgency
