VP of Marketing (Remote)

This is a remote position.

Hospitality Spotlight is working with a technology client and we are looking for a VP of Marketing located in the US.   

The Work:

• Responsible for creating and overseeing marketing strategies and efforts in order to strengthen the company's market position and achieve desired business goals.
  

• Create engaging content
  

• Excellent leadershipÙ« communicationÙ« analyticalÙ« and project management skills.
  

• Great decision-making skills and the ability to make difficult decisions.
  

• Collaborate with internal teams 
  

• Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the marketplace and competitive landscape
  

• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  

• Proactively learn and be conversant in solutions (technology, application, process, and development methodology) 
  

• Knowledge and proficiency in Google AdWordsÙ« SEOÙ« and web analytics.
  

• Travel as needed

What you’ve already done (requirements):

• 5 to 7 years of Marketing experience at a senior level with a tech startup 
  

• Hired and managed a marketing team
  

• Worked extensively within the tech industry
  

• Strong background with proven brand and marketing strategy creation
  

• Success evaluating competitive landscape and market trends
  

• B.S. degree or equivalent
  

• Ability in written communications
  

• Team player
