Job Description:

• The Sr. DBA will work with DevOps, Architecture, Product Management, Engineering, Customer Experience, Information Security, and other groups across the organization.
• The DBA will provide database design recommendations and conduct DBA activities including development and production support.
• DBA will create new Databases and decommission Databases in Prod and Non-Production environments.
• DBA will design and conduct data migration, database backup & recovery.
• Sr. DBA will be involved in Database Design and Data Architecture/ Data Modelling
• Also, the main activities will include the Database optimization of the development and production systems working with development and infrastructure teams.
• 6++ years of Database Administration and development experience with SQL Server, Postgres, and any other database platforms in AWS Environment.
• Good experience in Database Management, Database Administration in an AWS environment
• Expert-level hands-on experience in a cloud-based database engineering ecosystem like AWS.
• Understanding of scalable computing systems, data architecture/data modeling, software architecture, database structures, and algorithms.
• Working proficiency in a Linux environment.
