Informatica MDM Senior Engineer:

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Job Summary: As an Informatica MDM Senior Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing advanced technical support and expertise for our Informatica MDM solutions. You will be responsible for resolving complex issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the MDM system, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Advanced Technical Support:

Serve as a subject matter expert in Informatica MDM and related technologies.

Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and system errors.

Provide in-depth technical guidance to junior support engineers.

2. Incident Management:

Manage and prioritize support incidents and service requests.

Track, document, and report on issue resolution progress.

Ensure timely and effective resolution of critical issues.

3. Performance Optimization:

Monitor and analyze Informatica MDM system performance.

Implement performance-tuning strategies to optimize data management processes.

Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks.

4. Client Communication:

Maintain close communication with clients to understand their MDM support needs and priorities.

Provide timely updates on incident status and resolution.

Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

5. Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes,

troubleshooting procedures, and issue resolutions.

Develop knowledge base articles for common MDM issues and solutions.

6. Change Management:

Plan and execute changes and enhancements to the Informatica MDM system following established change management processes.

Perform impact analysis and risk assessments.

7. Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and data stewards, to address MDM-related issues and requirements.

Participate in meetings and discussions to provide technical insights and recommendations.

8. Quality Assurance:

Implement best practices and quality control measures to ensure data accuracy, data governance, and data security within the MDM system.

Conduct data validation checks and audits.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience as an Informatica MDM Support Engineer or a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of Informatica MDM, including data modeling, data quality, and data governance.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with SQL, database management, and data integration concepts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and mentor junior support engineers.

Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks is a plus.
