Roles & Responsibilities

  • Strong in Object Oriented Analysis and Design concepts.
  • Strong programming skills in C#, Python, or Scala, with hands-on experience in data interchange formats such as JSON and YAML.
  • Strong knowledge of PowerShell.
  • Good understanding of data integration techniques, ETL processes, and task/data orchestration, with hands-on experience using at least one of the tools: Azure Data Factory or Azure Logic Apps.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Develop data processing components in languages such as C#, Python, or Scala, and work with JSON/YAML data formats.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize data platform issues, ensuring reliable performance and applying continuous learning and strong communication.
  • Contribute to cloud-native architectural decisions on Azure, including microservices, serverless, and containerization, while aligning with security, governance, and DevOps practices.

Job Description

Must have
  • Strong in Object Oriented Analysis & Design concepts.
  • Strong in programming languages such as C#, Python, Scala etc. with hands-on in data interchangeable formats like JSON, YMAL.
  • Strong knowledge on PowerShell
  • Good understanding of data integration techniques, ETL processes, task/data orchestration with hands-on in AT LEAST one of the tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic App.
  • Familiar with the Azure ecosystem, with a good understanding of areas like Azure Event Grid/Hubs, Azure Apps/Functions, Azure Stream Analytics, etc.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting with good comm and continuous learning attribute.

Good to have
  • Understanding of data modeling & designing principles.
  • Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns, including micro services, serverless computing, and containerization. Understanding how to design scalable solutions on Azure.
  • Understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations, and security best practices. Knowledge of Azure security features, data encryption, and access control mechanisms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of database management systems, both traditional and cloud-based, like Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, etc.
