  • Provide accounting leadership during the ERP transition and beyond, ensuring accurate closes (month/quarter/year-end), GAAP compliance, audit support, and post-implementation optimization with dashboards and reporting.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Accounting Manager to lead the successful implementation and optimization of NetSuite ERP, including a complete cutover from QuickBooks. This role is critical in ensuring the integrity of financial data, seamless system integration, and long-term scalability of our accounting operations. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, external consultants, and internal stakeholders to own and execute the NetSuite roadmap from planning to post-go-live support. You'll also be doing accounting work as an individual contributor.

Key Responsibilities:

NetSuite Ownership & Implementation

  • Lead end-to-end NetSuite ERP implementation, from design and data migration to go-live and continuous improvements.
  • Manage cutover activities from QuickBooks to NetSuite, ensuring a clean transition of historical financial data.
  • Configure NetSuite modules (GL, AR/AP, Fixed Assets, Revenue Recognition, etc.) to align with business needs.
  • Oversee NetSuite integrations with third-party systems such as CRM, payroll, expense management, inventory, and billing systems.
  • Develop and document NetSuite process flows, SOPs, and internal controls.

Accounting Leadership

  • Serve as the accounting lead and subject matter expert during the ERP transition and beyond.
  • Ensure accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes in the NetSuite environment.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to align NetSuite setup with overall company objectives.
  • Support audit preparation and ensure ongoing GAAP compliance in all system configurations.

Optimization & Maintenance

  • Continually optimize NetSuite post-implementation to improve reporting, automation, and scalability.
  • Implement dashboards and custom reports to support business intelligence and decision-making.
  • Train internal finance team members on NetSuite functionalities and best practices.
  • Identify and resolve system and process issues, working with NetSuite support or external consultants when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on NetSuite experience, including at least two full-cycle NetSuite implementations and complex integrations.
  • Prior experience leading a migration from QuickBooks to NetSuite is a strong advantage.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles, ERP best practices, and internal controls.
  • Strong experience with NetSuite modules including Advanced Revenue Management, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Multi-Subsidiary/FX is a plus.
  • Experience working in high-growth or SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
