Job description:
Role: Business Data Analyst w/ Healthcare and Data Transformation experience

Location: 100% remote – Working PST hours

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Seattle WA Healthcare client has an immediate for a 100% remote: Sr. Business analyst to support the organizations large EDW consolidation effort (2 DW into 1) which includes moving to Snowflake and Azure cloud technologies.

This effort has been underway for the past year with Phase 1 now complete. They are in Phase 2 currently, moving the BI reports (in Tableau) and customized internal applications into Snowflake and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Collects, defines and documents both business and technical requirements to move BI reports, custom applications, HEDIS and Quality applications and data to Azure cloud.

• Strong business acumen to ask the right questions and document requirements of business stakeholders, bringing your strong BI and data analytics understanding and experience

• Read and understand data profiling/data quality reports and data models. This person is not expected to run their own queries, but must be able to read SQL).

• Organizes tasks, timelines, and delivery schedules, providing weekly status reports recapping project progress, issues, risks, and costs.

• Coordinates resource requirements to ensure that appropriate business and technical staff are available.

Required

• 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Analyst in a data centric environment (IE: "reports migration project” specific with Tableau)
